The first time I had a lucid dream that I can remember, I was five. The first time I learned about it and tried ( with success first try ) was 15.

What about you!? 🙂
Thank you,

Well my first lucid dreaming and obe happened a couple of years ago spontaneously as I increased my qi through energy work meditation and etc,and started naturally awakening Kundalini to a higher level, this actualy sky rocketed the obe's over a course of time, and have had several dream transmissions from various teachers(,both known and unknown) and systems.........nowadays I get really symbolic and spiritual messages through dreaming process.

I don't know the first time, personally, since I was doing it since I was very young.  I do remember some of the early ones, in which I would have multiple false awakenings, one after another.  I would think, ok I'm definitely awake now for real.  And then I would start walking down stairs and notice that something about the house looked all wrong, like doors or windows in the wrong place.  Then I would think, oh crap I'm still dreaming....I remember going through several of these when I just wanted to wake up.  Even though these were technically LDs though, I didn't realize the potential of lucid dreaming and the things I could have done in the dream, and now I am thrilled any time I have a false awakening and realize I'm in a dream, and rather than wanting it to end, I do everything to prolong it.

I was a young boy in a nightmare. I woke myself through will. I have had them here and there through the years. I've never tried to make them happen consciously.

Everytime I get into lucid dream I freak out and wake up. How can I fix it?

Learning to relax more would help. Also programming yourself with intent(mantra) before sleep and upon waking from sleep to be at peace and relax within yourself would help. Have you seen the Black Dragon Nei Kung videos?
